Description
Turkish Draughts (also known as Dama) is a strategic board game played on an 8x8 grid. Unlike traditional checkers, pieces move and capture horizontally and vertically, not diagonally. Each player starts with 16 pieces placed on the second and third rows. The objective is to capture all opponent pieces or block them from making any moves.
Instructions
- Movement: Pieces move one square forward or sideways.
- Capturing: Jump over an opponent's piece horizontally or vertically to capture it.
- Promotion: When a piece reaches the opponent's back row, it becomes a king and can move any number of squares in a straight line.
